Brush Fire Burns Four Acres In Hunterdon County: FD

Wet weather didn't stop some brush from burning in Hunterdon County on Sunday, March 24, authorities said.

At 4 p.m. firefighters responded to Pittstown Road for a brush fire, the Quakerstown Fire Company said. Firefighters arrived and found four acres of a field burning, resulting in the New Jersey Forest Fire Service utilizing a controlled burn to help extinguish the blaze, officials said. 

It took 20 minutes for the blaze to be contained, firefighters said
